Heat Treatment
NEW Universal's High Quench Vacuum Furnaces offer superior metallurgical results, obtained from the load being quenched in a cold chamber, which means the results at a 6 bar quench are as good as generally achieved over a 10 bar quench.
Precision Grinding
Universal Punch operates a modern, vertically integrated manufacturing facility equipped with precision grinding, ID and OD grinding, form grinding, automated machining, advanced turning and milling, EDM production, and wire EDM.
This breadth of in-house capability allows us to tightly control critical geometries, surface finishes, and tolerances required for high-performance medical instruments, tooling, and gaging.
PVD Coatings
Universal Punch offers advanced PVD coating solutions designed to protect critical working surfaces and extend tool life in demanding applications. These coatings deliver extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance, providing superior protection for cutting tools, forming tools, and high-wear components.
